My footprints

2008-2011

Shenzhen,China

I was born in Shenzhen, China, on December 27th, 2008, during the year when China hosted the Summer Olympics 2008. Due to this, I am often referred to as the “Olympic Child” in China.

2011-2014

Munich,Germany

When I was 2.5 years old, I moved to Munich, Germany with my parents, where I spent my happy childhood in the kindergarten and travelled a lot of places in Europe, such as France, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria etc., learning the diversities of culture and traditions. I spoke Deutsch at that time~

2014-2017

Shenzhen,China

I went back China and the first day when I was in the kindergarten, I found that the Chinese culture was so different with that of Europe’s and wandering why that is the case. I was so proud that I got perfect scores in English, Math and Chinese in the grade 2 final exams before I left China to Canada.

2017-2021

Surrey,BC,Canada

I landed in Canada on July 17th, 2017. The first few months of elementary school were hard for me, but I soon prospered and encountered unimaginable successes. After being recommended by school and passing the rigorous interview and examination, I was enrolled into the MACC class at grade 7, which is a program for highly gifted student in the school district. See https://web.surreyschools.ca/page/1188/multi-age-cluster-class-macc, I was so excited!

2021-Now

Southridge school

Canada

After rigorous screening and interview, I was enrolled in the Southridge school, the best school in the city. The school is fantastic because it encourages the the students to make an impact in the world with great scientific curiosity. That ultimately has become my life time goal and philosophy. I really learned a lot in the school!
